Marco Grunert		   Welcome to my website, my name is Marco Grunert and for the last 12 years I have been operating as a Bush Guide in Southern Africa where it has been my pleasure to introduce many clients to the secrets of Africa and to share in their adventures. My Safari company, Terra Africana Safaris, is a fully registered safari enterprise and is based in my game reserve in Northern Namibia; one of the most fascinating and unique countries in the world with an incredible diversity in landscape, fauna and ecosystems. Indeed the region is so diverse that over the years I have discovered the best way to cater for the many and varied needs of my clients is to break the activities up into specific areas; The Classic Wildlife Safari; the Geological Safari, and the increasingly popular Adventure Tour and Outdoor Sports Experience. All of which you will find detailed along with a number of itineraries that you will discover as you follow the links. Although I must stress that these recommendations are not restrictive and I am more than happy to tailor a programme to your individual needs, requirements and tastes, and would simply ask that you contact me and we can work on providing you with the Safari of your dreams.

I am very aware that the African experience is too precious to not get right, and so to ensure the exclusivity, professionalism and intimacy that any true African experience deserves, I would wish to reassure you that I personally guide all of my safaris.

GEOLOGICAL SAFARIS
As everyone from the keen amateur Geologist to the consummate professional will tell you, Namibia is a world renowned Geological Paradise. My Masters in Geology has allowed me to see this wonderful country through quite different eyes, and I now find it immensely satisfying sharing this knowledge with my clients. After years of experience I believe my programmes offer the complete Namibian Geological Safari with geological and mineral excursions for all of those interested in rocks, minerals fossils and the history of the earth and the very land we walk on. Furthermore I can offer tailor-made excursions, logistical support and/or local experience for professional teams and university study groups, or indeed anyone else with an interest in geology, mineralogy or mining.
